Bow Hunters Rendezvous 2016

The beautiful Chula Vista resort is what sets the P&Y Bowhunters
Rendezvous apart and makes it a must attend event. The surrounding Dells
community offers the ability to combine a family vacation with a
wonderful bowhunter shooting experience. Rendezvous attendees will have
the opportunity to visit with top bowhunting equipment manufacturers,
participate in hands-on demonstration of the latest traditional and
modern archery equipment, enjoy shooting multiple unique hunting venues
the latest Rinehart and McKenzie targets, enter hourly
drawings for great prizes from event sponsors, see trophy class game
mounts, meet with top outfitters and talk with hunting celebrities!
P&Y will also partner with Kentucky-based Scholastic 3-D Archery
(S3DA) and the Wisconsin state NASP chapter to provide shooting venues
for youth. S3DA trained instructors will be onsite to provide hands-on
instruction, and equipment. Shooting courses will be provided for both
NASP and S3DA.

The P&Y Bowhunters Rendezvous will feature: • Six (6) themed 3D diorama shooting courses including Predator, African, Sheep Country, Western Plains, North American Big Game and Deer/Hog Country featuring McKenzie & Rinehart targets • Long-distance shooting course and tournament • Judo (stump shooting) course • Broadhead shooting course • 3D Pop-up range (open shooting and tournament) • Arial Archery Flying disk range • 18-hole Archery Golf (Mt. Morris, WI – 45 minutes from venue) • The Iron Bear Shooting Challenge • The Genesis Bow Challenge (Adults/Youth) • Bowfishing shoot venue (sponsored by Muzzy) • Kids’ shooting area (S3DA and NASP sponsored) • Friday and Saturday family oriented nightly dinners • Big Game Hunt auction – 10-12 big game hunts • Bowhunting seminars

The Wisconsin Dells area was chosen because it literally is ground-zero for P&Y membership. Plus, Wisconsin has one of the highest number of active bowhunters and archers in the country. The Chula Vista Resort and Wisconsin Dells community offer an abundant array of additional attractions to make the rendezvous a true family vacation opportunity.

The rendezvous promises to be an incredible event in collaboration with the Chula Vista Resort, the Wisconsin Bowhunters Association, local bowhunting clubs, P&Y corporate sponsors and industry manufacturers that will be supporting and participating to make this a truly unique experience for all bowhunters.

The Pope & Young Club is a non-profit North American conservation and bowhunting organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of our bowhunting heritage, hunting ethics and wildlife conservation. The Club also maintains the universally recognized repository for the records and statistics on North American big game animals harvested with a bow and arrow.
